Soft Coral Capital of the World

Fiji is known as the Soft Coral Capital of the World, with abundant soft corals in a wide spectrum of colors. It is also home to several sharks. Taveuni Dive Resort is adjacent to the marina where the dive fleet is moored, reducing the room-to-reef time to 15 mintues. This is the shortest commute to the famous Rainbow Reef on Taveuni Island. These reefs lie in the Somosomo straight which usually has some current. The Great White Wall is diveable only a few times per month, and it looks like we will hit it at the right time! Tavenui, the 'Garden Island of Fiji,' also has birds, hiking, and waterfalls. Travel to the island is via a domestic flight from Nadi, which is a little over an hour long and not included (NAN-TVU). Space is limited, there are only 8 bures (bungalows) at the resort.

This includes but is not limited to: inclement weather, health problems, family emergencies, lost luggage, cancelled or postponed flights (including those we book for them) and any other unforeseen reasons that can change travel plans and/or cause financial losses.  This is available several places, including DAN, Dive Assure, and www.csatravelpro.com.

If you had a good time and would like to leave a gratuity for the Dive team, Resort staff, as well as their families and kid's school funds - you are free to do so. It can be simply added to your final bill. We do not recommend personal tips be given becuase all gratuities are collected each year and disbursed to all staff at Christmas. This helps make sure that everyone who helped you have a good time gets rewarded (even the behind-the-scene staff you may not have met!)
