Adventure of a Lifetime!

Sail on the beautiful Aggressor Nile Queen and travel back in time to see the land of the pharaohs. We'll sail from Luxor to Aswan, being treated to breathtaking views while sailing on the Nile where we will stop for day trips to see ancient ruins, archaeological treasures, and ancient villages. Your adventure includes guided tours of Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and many other ancient sites.

The price is $1,150 off retail!

Trip Includes

5 Nights on sailing yacht
All meals and snacks, beverages, sodas, local beer and wine
Breakfast (cooked to order), lunch and an elegant meal at dinner with tableside service are served in addition to mid-afternoon snacks. Beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are complimentary while onboard.
Rooms have large windows, private bath, 23" TV with movie selection, central air with individual climate control, bathrobes, and hair dryer.
Transfers and entrance fees to the historical sites are included in the price of your trip.

You will likely be leaving the Aggressor III in Port Ghalib and travelling overland to Luxor to board the Nile Queen. This takes ~ 3 h 45 m and cost ~ $60.
At the end of the trip you will like fly from Aswan to Cairo (ASW-CAI) for a 2N or 3N Cairo land tour. This is a 1 h 20 min flight and costs ~$100. Alternatively, you may skip Cairo and start your flights home.

Yacht

Style/Comfort: Nice. All staterooms are air-conditioned and fitted with private toilets, showers and sinks.

Alcohol: Beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are complimentary while onboard. The Aggressor’s selection includes fruit juices, soft drinks, iced water, iced tea, coffee, and a limited selection of local beer and wine, which are complimentary. We suggest you purchase your favorite liquor (s) from the duty-free shop at the airport prior to departing to Egypt.

Food:

All chef-prepared meals are included; breakfast (cooked to order), lunch and an elegant dinner with tableside service in addition to fresh mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks. Beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are complimentary while onboard.

Linens: Provided

Towels: Provided

External Communication: Limited Wi-Fi is available on board the vessel but is not guaranteed.

Electricity: The voltage aboard the yacht is 220v and the plug sockets around the boat will accept American plugs. You should bring a voltage adaptor. Most electrical devices are either 110 or 240 volts (look on your cable on the charger that plugs into the wall to verify).

Getting here, Saturday Oct 5

You will likely be leaving the Aggressor III in Port Ghalib and travelling overland to Luxor to board the Nile Queen. This takes ~ 3 h 45 m and cost ~ $60. (Arranged through Aggressor.) You will leave Port Ghalib at 6 am.

Departure, Thurs Oct 10

Checkout is at 8:00 am Thursday morning for guests not participating in the Abu Simbel add on.
Guests doing the Abu Simbel add on will depart for a half-day tour and lunch which ends at 2 pm, then will be transferred to the Aswan Airport. Guest’s luggage will be transfers to the minibus after check-out while on the half-day tour.
At the end of the trip you will like fly from Aswan to Cairo (ASW-CAI) for a 3N or 4N Cairo land tour. This is a 1 h 20 min flight and costs ~$100, booked through Aggressor.
Alterntively, you may skip Cairo and start your flights home.

Terms

Travel insurance: We strongly recommend travel insurance. We strongly recommend each guest purchase comprehensive accident, medical, baggage and trip cancellation and interruption insurance when space is reserved. Trip insurance will protect you from financial disappointment if you are prevented from making your scheduled trip due to illness or family illness, or in the event that unforeseen circumstances prevent the airline or yacht from making its scheduled trip. In the event you cancel your trip, please be familiar with Aggressor cancellation policies, which can be found on www.aggressor.com. More information can be found on travel insurance and dive accident insurance on the Aggressor website."

How settle bill for on board expenses:

The Red Sea Nile Queen accepts cash (USD or EGP), Visa and MasterCard. (No personal checks or travelers’ checks.)

Tipping:

"Staff gratuities are not included in the charter. We believe gratuities should be voluntary and based upon the quality of service the staff has provided. When settling your account, the Cruise Tour Guide will have an envelope for gratuities that will be divided equally among the staff. Payment can be made by Visa or Mastercard credit card, or cash (USD, Euro’s, Egyptian Pounds.)"
